Use keys 9 and : to enabled or disable the Random Playback func-

tion. If Random Playback is enabled, the display will show an active

random playback mode by the symbol Random:

The symbol Random will be removed from the display if Random Play-

back is disabled.

Note

· If you compiled a playlist, only the tracks of the playlist will be

played back in a random order.

Tip

· To leave the menu press and hold setup key ä for longer than 2 sec.

9.4 Time search

You can directly access any time on the disc. Press the setup key ä on

the Audionet Metal Remote Control RC 1 4 times to open the

Time Search dialog in the display of the ART G3. Now enter the time in

minutes and seconds you want to go to. Use keys 9 and : to select the

right most digit of the desired time. Press key 7 to shift all 4 digits one

step to the left. Proceed this way until desired time in minutes and sec-

onds is in the display. Press key 4/; to start or continue playback at the

entered time.

The display shows the entered time and the track number corresponding

to that time.

Example:

You would like to playback at time 47 minutes and 53 seconds. First,

press setup key ä 4 times to enter the Time Search dialog. Now use : to

enter a '4' as the right most digit. Press 7 to shift digits one step to the

left. Press 9 repeatedly until the right most digit is '7' and shift with 7.

Press 9 repeatedly until the right most digit is '5' and shift with 7. For

the final digit press : 3 times. Now you have entered the desired time of

1 2 ... 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 ... 53 54
